Hey outstanding slow shutter speed, I do agree with both of you, however the trunk is not a great help to the over all message of the picture

yeah I hear what you are saying Carl but I like the dichotomic set up here. It was a deliberate choice to frame the pic the way I did with the log as a frame and also to set up the small scene behind it its like a leading line as well which takes the eye out of the picture which is a habit of mine to challenge the viewer

nice shot Roger,good use of shutter speed,the only think that bothers me,a personal thing,is the log/tree trunk. i feel it draws ones eye away from the lovely soft water.great shot though,well done!
