Inclusion of the foreground vegitation with its striking fall colors gives a wonderful feeling of depth and dimension to this shot. The water looks like a mirror and the reflections are super. Colors, details, and focus at so good. The composition moves your eyes from the foreground all the way back to the trees and distant mountains. The effect of the clouds in this shot as they close in on the mountains, gives the impression that the scene is disappearing right before your eyes. With the cool blues, greys and whites of the snow on the mountains and those clouds hanging low you know that the cold weather and winter is moving rapidly towards you as you stand there in the warmth of the fall colors.
Well seen, well shot. Thanks for sharing this one, I feel as if I was standing there drinking in the view right beside you - probably shivering a little and wishing for a nice hot cup of coffee. Zipping this in to my favorites. Jan

yeah lots of bears here and moose as well....was 20 feet from a bull moose near here but the light was waining to the point that the shots became too grainy
