About A few weeks ago Garrett Lau psoted a picture of this hawk.
The band numbers were readable from
his photos and thanks to this fact, it was determine that the bird was banded in the Marin Headlands on August 15, 2005. Not to far from Half Moon Bay- Bluff Top Coastal Park.
His initial contact with people may explain the reason why he's not affraid of people.
