Vibrant, cute, fast, playful - these crabs - they turn the beach red before sunrise on a clear morning, which is a treat to watch. They are currently an integral part of Mandarmani. However, they might not be so in the near future. With lack of support from the Government, there are no roads to this place of tourist attraction. The last four kilometers is a drive on the beach. The crabs are crushed in hundreds under the wheels everyday, for the tourists who come to visit them - just because there is no black top road. Is anybody listening?
