i love the emotion behind your work. personally, i would prefer a more sublte title, for effect, and let the viewer make their own associations about the piece... but no matter, the title doesn't make the photograph. i love the seeming lack of correlation between the two subjects (the hand and the face). a lot of the effort here is in the set up, like the make-up preparation, etc. the extent of your preparation to set up a good photgraph is admirable, as well as the taking. as usual i am impressed, thomas. every time i look back here i am pleased when i see new images up. it is, as always, a pleasure to revel in you work.

love the toning, the composition, but mostly the mood, dark, edgy, like walking down the street in the middle of the night with your back to traffic dressed in black... fantastic work!

Briliant shot. Very dark, very deep. "A picture says a thousand words" and that is definently true for this photo. i heard about your portfolio from ronald allen and he wasnt exagerating. it is amazing. each photo could be examined again and again, each time finding more. if you have time, could you look over my portfolio and tell me what you think? our styles are quite different, but i respect your work emensly and would appreciate any comments you have. thanx
