Hi Avi - I like the horisontal layers of contrasting tone and textures. I find the bottom log slightly to bright (seems over-exposed in some areas). I included a slightly reworked copy, where I darkened the middle tones slightly with the Level slider in PS and I then added a dark green filter just for a slight tint of tone. The only thing that bothers me slightly about the composition is the burl that was apparently cut in halve - it just leaves me curious and wondering what rest of the burl looks like (but this is really nitpicking). I hope it helps a bit. Regards.

Nice One Oom,
This shot will keep you busy trying for a while. Good strong composition. That spot in the top part of the photograph where the sun hits the water makes this interesting to me. Once again something I wouldnt have seen. Well Done!!!
