It's an OK photo. IMO overrated. I'm not rating it myself. I think that there are a couple of flaws. First there is the obvious oversharpening. Secondly there is the halo around the subject. And thirdly, as mentioned by Adrian Royle, more eye contact would have been nice to give more personality to this lady. Now there is an "empty" glass. There is not much in the photo that tells us something about this person, also because of the lack of eye contact, but also because there is not much context. That's why a glimpse of her eyes/expression would have been nice, it might have told the viewer something about her. It's good that you were able to get so close, it gives nice detail.
