My daughter came one day wearing her orkmask and had put on funny glasses as well. She told me that she was a schoolteacher...She has just turned five years old and she looks very much forward going to school next summer - I would too if getting such a teacher;)
There you go! Anna Sophie must have seen him in the famous School of Horror, your mathteacher, and decided to dress up as him. Spooky lyrics that still apply for many children and teachers around the world. Fortunately not a problem in Denmark anymore. That was when my parents went to school that such teachers would destroy the lives of some children. What a crime and for them it was just a way to feel superior. I can´t blame your teacher for not liking the lyrics though;-) Anyway just let me know if you want to locate him. I have a small group of specialized snails that can be sent on an assignment - the search for grumpy teachers. How slimy they´ll be.
That funny looking creature looks like Dr Sweatman, a maths teacher at my school! The head, by the way... the rest isn't funny looking at all! Dr Sweatman and I had a... how shall I put this... a strained relationship. I was rubbish at maths, even though I eventually got a good grade at O Level. I wrote on my maths book the following Pink Floyd lyric...
When we grew up and went to school, there were certain teachers Who would hurt the children in any way they could By pouring their derision upon anything we did And exposing every weakness, however carefully hidden by the kids But in the town it was well known when they got home at night Their fat and psychopathic wives would thrash them within inches of their lives
He was not a happy bunny when he read that. In fact, there was very little 'bunny-like' about Dr Sweatman at all. He wasn't small, furry or cute and, I imagine, did not procreate with the same regularity and sense of purpose. He was more like a bull with an itch in a place he couldn't reach. Anyway, I tried to get out of it by saying that the words on my book had no relationship to anyone living or dead, but he wasn't buying it for one moment. I wonder where he is now?!
Hello Minoo:-) Thanks for your fine comment. Yes, one should think that she´s scared of going to school, but actually she can´t wait. It may have been the glasses that she thought of - I don´t really know, but indeed hilarious:-) Warm hugs Annemette
Hi Annemette! This is a terrific photo! Excellent. Before I read the 'about', I thought, poor anna Sophie had to wear this mask to be photographed. But now I think that she must have an awful image of school, or it is simply her immagination that got carried away, trying to be authoritarian like school teachers. It is really cute, all being scary :) I can tell she is more than adorable. Big hugs to both of you, Minoo.
