Ho ho ho ho.. you just made my day. But actually yes, these are BIG names here - Lennon, Morrison, Armstrong.. bigger than the Geroge Ws and the Tony Bs of the world.. and DEFINITELy bigger than the Pats and the Avis.. :)

Yeah, maybe I should return... I've only been once, in 1988, when I was 18... I loved it. Stayed in Queens with a friend of a friend who was a cameraman... he was never there because he was always off doing some terrible job at 3 in the morning... the last I heard of him, he was the main cameraman on a Martin Scorsese film... so it just goes to show... keep at it, and all that. One of my main memories is of annoying people in Strawberry Fields park near the Dakota Building by suggesting that John Lennon was not actually a saint or a god or an ambassador for world peace. If Yoko had heard me she'd have probably thrown a strop and got someone to remove me...

When I choose projects now, Avi, I tend to do it at random. This could have been 'pets' or 'sunsets' or 'Henri' or 'bike wheels'. But even so, the wheel there on its own... jealous of the two wheels in the background? LOL!

Sorry if I am being impudent, but is the bike in the background not distracting the sense of alone ? Wasn't 1 bike more suited for this ?

OK... prima di tutto mi fermo a Firenze per tre giorni, poi vado a Siena, Napoli, Sabaudia, Pompei, Roma, Bari... anche ho intenzione di andare a Mattera; vorrei visitare dei altri posti più piccoli. Voglio provare i piaceri diversi dell'Italia, non solo la vita nelle città grande. Sto pensando anche di andare a Lucca; ho sentito parlare bene della tua città. È molto bella, vero? A dire il vero, non sono assolutamente sicuro dove vado in Italia... non mi impegno di decidere.

OK, here's some English practice for you! That is one of the nicest comments I've ever had! Grazie per il complimento immeritato riguardo al mio italiano! Parlo un pessimo italiano (davvero!), ma ci metto un sacco di lavoro. Vado in Italia per un mese il venti settembre. Ho intenzione di migliorare il mio italiano e fare delle foto per una mostra in Inghilterra. Non vedo l'ora di andare! Grazie, signore Baccelli, molte grazie..

I've been going into all of the photos that you have posted over the last couple of days, and now I'm able to pick which are your photos even before I see your name. You take photos of such ordinary, evryday objects, and as a collection I think they are really striking. They all feature great composition and contrast. Keep up the good work.
