This is a photo I took in March 2003 at Creswell Crags, which is found in Nottinghamshire, England. This duck was standing at the side of the gorge, so I couldn't resist taking a photo of it. The adjustments I've made in Photoshop are to crop the photo, and slightly adjust the Levels, Hue/Saturation, and Contrast.
To my un-trained eye, all white ducks look the same! I'd love to have captured my duck on the same type of grass and flowers as you took yours. My photo seems so plain in comparison. Next time I see a duck, I'm going to have to use some bread and try and lure it into a better position for photo taking! )
Nice photo, good feather detail and good composition, although IMO it would be better if the edge of the lake wasn't going through his neck and part of his back. I love to see pictures like this on the same level as the duck, but one thing that really sticks out to me is that his eye looks blank. There's no catch lights to give it life. I find it's a lot easier to take a photo like this on a cloudy day in order to get the catch lights.
