I like the composition here--except the large flat line of orange piercing the onion-like mass of vibrant neon. It seems to throw off the balance for me, and deflating the otherwise effective negative space above. I do like the framing here, as well as the color and clarity.

Michael, this looks like a close crop of a big neon flower! The location is almost iconographic, but you showed it from a unique angle. Did you try this with the solid bar along the bottom right cropped out? I'm not sure if that would make the negative space too overpowering, but it would be interesting to see.

Was this handheld? My only experience shooting neon resulted in big blurry blobs.
