About I don't really know if this is the same location, but this landscape reminds me of O'Keefe's painting of that name. I didn't set out to recreate O'Keefe's landscapes in photographs, I only thought afterwards that I could see where she drew her inspiration. I can definitely see why she fell in love with the region.

Thanks Alan. I was actually more familiar with O'Keefe's paintings of flowers, so it was interesting to learn more about her landscapes.

Thanks so much for your encouragement.

Maryanne, this is another beautiful image and it does seem to relate to the painting. Well done!

That's okay, I like a little mystery to solve every now and again. As always, thanks for your encouragement and attention to my photos -- I know some are better than others ;-).

Best to you, m'dear.

Yes, I agree. Actually, lots of westerns were filmed in this region because of its open spaces and uninterrupted vistas.

Thanks for visiting, Gianfranco.

Hey Michele, I think you were typing on the wrong keys there for a bit -- it's like code (and I think I decifered it). Thanks for your kind words on my little landscapes.

Best to you, m'dear.
