About Thanks heavens there are also some remarkable things outside or behind the walls of offices where most of us have to work for just surviving. Perhaps it is the most interesting part of what we do, to just "see" such things and let them be "registered" in film or CCD.

Any comments would be very welcome.

Oh, and Sandip, as about survival especially in some urban sorroundings, well... it is... highly interesting! ;-)

Thanks a lot for the nice comment and the interest, Sandip! With "stop over" you mean a too big aperture and thus luck of uniform sharness on this one? If so, then I wanted to have the wall very out of focus as some kind of hint about the "grey here" in contrast to the "golden there", and my thoughts about that were that such a focus difference would fit the overall concept of contrast. But, as I already said to Dave, since the grey of the building on the front seems to play a role for contrast, perhaps I should have chosen to get it in focus too, using a small aperture... dunno! What would you do in this case?

Have a nice day,

Nick

I start thinking if it would be better to get the wall also sharp, Dave, since its solor does play a role for contrast, as you say.

Thanks a lot and best wishes,

Nick

yes .. the contrast between the colors are striking and a beautiful composition too .. nice work Nick ... and i agree .. thank god for these extra-ordinary beauties that surround us and makes our survival acts a bit soothing than its usual ugly self :) ... one question though .. do you think its a stop over ? is it intentional ??

Best Regards,

-sandip
