LOL!
I just ordered the AB remote LAST Night, man!

I got fed up with my sync cord falling out, or me stepping on it. Either way makes me look silly in front the client, but I just wanted a no-worries convenience to focus on the shoot and not on wires.

Paul,

I alway learn something I did, which would have worked better each and every time. I think that's the best way to learn, because it's something we don't ever forget.

1 thing I do when the other slave doesn't fire it to attach a piece of white cardboard on the slave flash and it will fire. Also I have a fotodex wireless transmitter and 2 recievers... ;) They work pretty darn good and you don't have wires running everywhere.

I saw where Alien Bee now has their own transmitters and recievers for $39 for each piece... I think they would be a better product than what I have.

Keep up the great work my friend,

Martin

One other note here:
I changed over to my 'nifty 50' so I could open up the lens wider than 4.5...but when I reduced the power of the brolly box upper camera right, it was not enough to slave my backlight, which had a 20-grid attached, so I ended up raising the power until my kicker fired...at f4.5 ;)

After I was breaking down, I realized I could have just switched my sync cable to the back-light.

It's learning, even if it IS after the shoot! LOL
