Thanks Nicole. I was very lucky in that my friends fed them every night so over time they became quite confident to come forward. They were a little wary at first because I was someone differnt there but patience and few glasses of wine later they decided I was no threat. Judy

Thanks Keith. Yep, my girlfriend laugthed at me when I counted my fingers after it. They were actually very gentle as long as we were quiet around them. We managed to touch one and it was so soft.Judith

Hi Olga. These are O'Possums (most people drop the O )At certain times of the year, particuarly in dry area's, its sometimes hard for them to find food. These ones were in Brisbane, Australia where I think they are protected. Here in New Zealand they are considered a real pest. Their fur is very soft and hunters here make lots of money from the Possums skin which is used to make all sorts of products. Thanks for your interest. Judy
