An exploration of what light can do....I tried to stop looking at things in the 'normal' way, rather at what light does, light is all there is, isn't it? no light, no image, but we don't look at the light, we look at the image it creates, the picture and the result is very 'limiting'.....we use a camera to drag out what is not there in the first place......what we are looking for is light forms and a story....better stop rambling on, this image is drawn from a steel wheel rim of an old cart, wooden spokes long rotted by time and weather, somebody drove the cart once, somebody who lived and loved, like we do. cheers, david.
Light is the basis of all life. Photography is described as light writing. Hence it becomes the written language of light. The light etched image of itself, the new hieroglyphics, the storyteller of now for the future, the history of life. It is good to be an interpreter in that history.
