About Trying to get that look and feel of the twilight zone. The small tress in the foreground seem to help a lot here.

Any comments would be very welcome.

Oh yes, when the image is so strong, many times I forget to read the title myself. Bad habit though, since it also says much about the way the photographer looked at things.

Out of curiosity, what about this one specifically? Did you read the title?

Cheers,

Nick

Yeap, that's also my impression, Tuna. The B&W lets many things "die". Anyway it was good to compare both possibilities directly.

Best wishes,

Nick

Lovely work. Beautiful and moody. I love the black portions, enhancing the middle part. Fantastic.

maybe it's so.. but personally I don't usually read the title before looking at the image..sometimes I don't read it at all...I mean I forget to :)))

many thanks for the comment and the differentation between the two, Mahassa!

Nick

P.S. Interesting to see that the different groups of people here looked at the two photos in ways that I expected.

P.P.S.: I suspect, had I exchanged the titles before psoting, the reactions would have be the other way around ;-)

P.S.+P.P.S.=P.P.P.S.: Which makes me ask myself, could it be that a more "romantic" title automatically turns any image to good work? ;-)

well, despite my idea, color one is better because silhoutte details are more visible and yellow color is really good,it makes image more moody.
