hey Neil
thanks for your encouragement
yeah, the lamp was a bummer, but i would have to go back 7000 kms to remove it. : >)
as for the sharpness, i guess i could give it a further tweak.

The colouring and composition are perfect. A really great idea. - The thumbnail stood out from those around it.

It is a shame that the lamp was left in the righthand side of the photo. Perhaps you need to go back there again and have a cup or two!

Also I did wonder if it was not as sharp as it could be?

hey devina
thats a brilliant observaation!!! this should be the critque of the day!
even i like the gradation from big to small and fully exposed to under-exposed.
i would have liked to remove the candle but in doing so i would have chopped off dad's nose. : >)

thanks again

The shot is great. The first two are like mommy and daddy, then you have the two kids, and lastly, the pet. I think I like that the kettles to the left is underexposed because it’s like they are shadows who follows the leader. The cups and the candle to the right should have been moved. Overall, a great shot.

Love the title. Nice how people find art in everyday things.
