As best I can remember, Dave, there was a wave coming in at the top, and there was a wave receding. Funny how they sometimes create cross-currents like this. Thank you.:)

I am left to imagine what this is. The title gives me a clue but is the bottom portion sand with a wave of water coming in at the top? Or is it two waves, one receding, the other coming in? Mysterious photo that leaves the mind wondering. So in that regard, a photo requiring thought, it's a good natural abstract.
