About Fill the frame with your subject. Do NOT center the important part of the image. Set it off a bit to one side. People!!!! We are not taking pictures... we are grasping moments. We are weaving photographs into and out of the everyday existence of concrete activities. Do not make your images obvious. Do not hand the thought and story over easily... make people work, and think, and stretch...

So, keeping true to myself. I offer you...

That wee bit of yellow in the upper left-hand corner. A pavement/parking lot and a dash/slash of color.

And yes... if there were a bit of barbed-wire... I remembered that.

I thought he came back as Kevin C. or something.
If it wasn't I as a bit too chatty with that guy.
An engma. We're always students of these light boxes but I thought he was somehow just discovering the process as I was, but really a hell of a lot of learning showed. I was trying to encourage him to exhibit, at one stage, assuming he hadn't. I gathered, (wrongly I reckon) he had only usefilm as an outlet for his art. Would love to know what he is doing with all his talent.

Yes! I did! Hadn't heard from him for ages and ages then he popped up with a comment on that beer/bottle/cap collection I posted a few weeks ago. (Don't look for the pic, I deleted it... long story) I guess I could just email him and ask what is up in his world.

Aaah but so crispy. Well done!
Kevin C. would have flipped to see it. Heard from the guy?

Classic. Stark, simplified and stunning.

Jim, this is stunning. I never even thought about the aesthetics until I read your About. A political message came to me straightaway - a dead Vietnamese baby lying on defoliated earth. Or maybe I'm stretching things a little too much.
Regards, Gary
