Wonderful this 3 levels composition! The eyes go from the sleepy sun summarily clothed in a wrapper of cloud to the angry sea below to find peace with the birds on the beach! The golden light present all over is giving warmth to the whole composition! As always...a very good work! YT

Great photo, I am very impresed from these very wild for there size waves, really strong present at all your last photos, here I am falling in love with 'your' sun, the way the warm color trying to be "into" the sea, like attacks to the cold tones of that area, with also a very calm - soft texture of the sky, amazing that contrast between the two areas of your photo. Excellent! Best regards!

Very inpressive the contrast of atmosphere between the peacefull, serene image of the family of seagalls on the golden strand and the emotive overlapping of the threatening dark waves in the sea. I like the photo very much, Joggie. Good work!

What a lovely "farewell" image, Joggie - you are such a master of composition - not a thing out of place, exquisite colours and detail, from the bobbing surfers (it boggles my mind that anyone could attempt the icy waters at Blouberg) to the reflections of the seagulls. Please diclose the secret behind capturing a sunset without flare - I have asked so many photographers, but the answers are always vague. Hope the move went well. Groetnis

Hi Oom,
Lovely shot. The composition is just right, with the gulls in the front of the picture, just keeping you busy enough, and then leading your eyes through the waves to the stunning sunset.
Good Luck with the moving. Hope it goes smoothly.
