Composition works... Crop is great... You've lit him very well... I'm wondering if your Photoshop attempt to "fix" skin blemishes has helped the image at all... Sometimes, it's easy to get carried away with getting the skin to look silky... A little too much and you could get the skin to look fake, which isn't all that desirable (unless that is your aim). I should know... I've done that mistake many times...
In this case, the "photoshoping" is uneaven. The right hand side of the frame looks natural, yet the left looks "plasticky".
Overall, I'm sure your model would be happy with the results. Keep posting!
Excellent lighting and detail Chris. It really enhances the eyes. Interesting pose as well. It's just a personal preference, but I hate to see the top of the subjects head cropped.
