:))) How wonderful Michele... (hopefully not insulting any native americans with my comment)...
The rock art makes me think of a bust community of *rockers* going about their daily business... Especially three in centre of composition... Large bossomed lady with headscarf centre left... Women with baby on hip in middle and a severe faced person *rocking* this way, almost off the edge...:)))
Wonderful colours in the rock Michele, a n excellent composition dear friend...:)))

Paul Its a BLUE MOON tonight in the USA only ...not in Europe... go Out and take some great shots ...they'll handle the problem !!!!! I know it - I have NO Macro lens or I'd be doing it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Doyle you make me smile every time I read a comment from you or one you've written - You always put things in proper perspective , and keep them soo funny at the same time- I just love your way with words and how You view life ...Lol!!! It's the VERY BEST WAY :)))
Thank YOU so much for the kind comment and reminding me that I did take a picture of several rocks...haha!!! And they were totally stacked just for the moment or until the in comming tide , OR someone re-arranged them- ha!!
Also loved your sons response to his rock he thru back into the ocean - his way of viewing life too I suppose- Thank goodness for 'Friends ' like YOU who can keep us all in better perspective :)))
I appreciate your comments so very much ....
Gotta come visit soon- I've been working more so a bit of a break here on UF for me- - Plus the weather is very nice at long last and just can't stay in-side -

Sheeesh! You and Nicole both certainly DO know enough to give good critiques. You two are just being modest. Saw the reply comment to Riny too. You are so right . . . a pat on the back every now in then is essential (IMO) and equally important.
Girl - you took a picture of a rock.
You are, officially, a photographer now! LoL! Only our kind can appreciate this . . . my parents would just shake their heads and tell me to push the kids in front of it at least!
But what an interesting find. The rocks are stacked and balanced only (not glued)? The color and detail is superb. I'm reminded of a time I spent on the beach once with one of my sons . . . he absently tossed a stone into the surf. I quipped . . . "good one, that stone took 500 million years to work it's way up to this beach and you just tossed it back in two seconds!" Without a pause he shrugged and told me "It had an unfair headstart". I can't imagine where these kids get it! LoL! Nicely done!

Thank you for your great compliment,I try always to see the good and positive things,I still learn all day with photography and everything in life.I'm not good enough to tell other people to make it perhaps better and when I really don't like a picture I don't leave a comment.I don't like it to hurt somebody,I know that is not always the best way but this is my character..:))
But here on this site the pictures are all soo great it's hard to find a picture that's not good!!!!
In any case yours and those from our UF friends are ALL great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI Nicki ! Please forgive the delayed reply .... We do have 3 days off here but ours is called 'Memorial Week-end' to remember the ones who died for our 'freedom'..... The coast is mild but it's hot in the valley so we get a bit of over-cast when this happens....
I always appreciate your kind and supportive comments my dear- You are always soo positive and find good things to say - Not always the best ways to learn BUT you keep our spirits encouraged and this is very important if not equally important... I feel like that is what I try to do as well because I don't feel like I have learned enough yet to tell anyone else much as far as how to make a better image . lol!!!!
I do think that YOU are a very good photographer tho my dear - Very Good !!!

Did anybody try to building something there? Even or, the colors are great, the details are also great and so the difference of distances even the sunlight wasn't the most helpfull for you, amazing image on that style - subject.
