Yes, exactly what people tell me in general and I totally agree, Patrick- not because I´m one and you´re so many, but it works out much better, a finer balance, nothing to disturb the mainmotive.

perfect tones in the background complement the flower perfectly...also well controlled highlights...i would also crop this a little tighter..not much but a little...nice work

Ahh ... det är så skönt att kunna skriva på svenska, Annemette! Mycket bra vinkel och härliga färger, men jag har ett förslag. Vad säger Du om att beskära bilden en aning så att blomman inte är så centrerad ... nånting i stil med bilden härintill?

That's right,it's the darker areas in the corners,usually caused by a lensehood when using a wideangle lense.

Beautiful colours and a particularly effective wide aperture.There seems to be a bit of vignetting in the corners but maybe you like that.Anyway that's something you can sort out in your raw converter.
