LOL Robin... I don't think I've ever had the *spring chicken* narrow or thin...:))) 5'7" at 12 yrs of age, and *a decent frame* as my parents would say, dancing daintily in Swan Lake was an illusion in my head alone... ~~GRIN~~ So, I danced and fluffed my illusory, spring chicken feathers around sporting fields, between bases, over highjumps and hurdles and basketball courts... LOL and at 57 last March... classification of *boiler* & great soup bones... ;)))

BUT, I'm still like tall & narrow in my head... ~~GRIN~~

HHED...:)

Thanks Onie-o...doesn't narrow (translates thin in my mind) always appeal to us um, well...not-so-spring-chicken-aged ladies??? ;)

Warm hugs...Robin

Robin -- Tall, lanky and beautiful. I too see the alien, another photo of Emperor Orzack from the planet Zamabama. He/she/it is over 18 feet tall so the proportions in this floral are perfect. Orzack has a flat head from hitting door sills.
--Best to you, Jan

Its like a paint brush, done very delicately, the softness of the light and the not so vivid lines that separates the colors makes it look like a painting...very good entry for the project.
really very nice, good photo for hanging on the wall..

Thanks Marlyce, good to hear from you! The color does look like paint swirls...help me out though...I'm just not seeing the alien...

Robin, beautiful! I like the tall, but I also see an alien face, a tight crop and this could be pretty scary! Love the DOF as the colors almost look like paint swirled.

DD,

Must be something in the water...the flowers are misbehaving again this year. Instead of opening in a circular fashion, she chose to be different and opened in an oval shape...hence, the tall and narrow shot. You know how hard it is to work with a temperamental model?

Thanks for the kind words! Off to see what you have posted...

Take care...Robin

Robin:
I, personally, would have preferred a wider shot . . . seems tall and narrow.

But Wow. Perfect for the project with awesome color and DOF, with amazing focal clarity. Truly beautiful!
