This has a lovely soft feel to it. There is a wonderful blast of colour, set against the patterns of the hills in the background and the focal point of the small building.

Now I really am jealous Tony!!!!
As I said the poppy is my favourite flower, closely followed by the purple thistle…..
It’s so annoying that I’m not there to see this spectacular show this spring, but I’ll hold you to the promise next year to show me the best place.
I love the way you have captured this and the sheer distance it conveys, a truly lovely scene.
Into my favorites of course... :)

I thought it was a painting, at first! It is such a beautiful view and the poppies have such volume and movement that it makes me dizzy!!! A SUPERB composition and a favourite with me!

~~GRIN~~ I thought I had really looked at this beautiful shot, however, I missed the brilliant purple of the thistles in amongst the poppies Tony... Magnificent...:)))
