A wonderful, powerful image. Very good work. I wouldn't change a thing. Having said that, Jeff's crop creates another, quite different mood. Both good.

A great treatment of the subject matter Kristupa. What was the lighting condition? I had some difficulty with the subject's gender as I could not see any visual clues to hang it on. I would have lost the clothing if this were mine. Giving the viewer nowhere else to look is a great maxim in portraiture, IMO. :)
I played with the composition for a while and preferred to remove the head from the body. Please forgive my liberty taking, which has extended to posting a version, to better explain what I mean. I left the original head position because I was not sure about all of the empty space to look into and my sense of the strength of this picture was to continue to show a weary and time-worn face just before the point of exit from this life.
My own meddling aside Kristupa, it is a really good piece of work and one that I wish I had seen and carried out.
