lol....almost nothing... I find nature, plants and animals great subjects but I don't know much, all these I wrote is knoledge of my friend that was with me at the...shoting time! :-)

You seem to know a lot about the orchids John ... my brother grows them here in oregon in a hot house--- the climate is not warm enough for them to grow wild here... but for YOU -- watch where you're stepping always I guess :))

Lots of them...they have 35.000 types of orchid all over the world, it's amazing plant!!! Pity that the most of them are really tiny and so VERY difficult to find them...we can easily distroy them with our foots!!!

Thanks Michele, not the most difficult to find in my place but good for me (for a begginer...)
In Medditeranian (a bit Italy and mostly greek islands) it is one named orchid italica that looks like a man that smiles to you (with hands, foots, a tail ...lol... and biiig ears) white, soft pink and soft red its colors...really very funny flower! I'll try to find it...

These orchids are quite interesting John... they look like , well orchids like I have Never seen before !! They almost look sort of alien...like there is a specific job for each part of the plant to do.... hard to explain-- and soo many different colors, and patterns on them . Very nice shot, great exposure, clarity , and dof as usual- 7/7
