Hi John,
It is not the Camera as much as it is the Lens and the post processing techniques.
There are many ways to remove the noise,
My favorite one is using neatimage.com software, it is free and solid,
Give it a try and I am sure you will like the result :)

SUPER!!! Hemmmm.....where is the noise??? WOW! I know that 20D is perchaps the best camera in noise but that is increadcible!!! Out of any though...the quality is absolutely at its best and you get full colors and lighting conditions that means even you use long exposure - bulb (so noise) or high ISO (also noise) but here the result is absolutely great!!! ...lol...I must read more about that camera! Congratulations!

Very nice night cityscape Ameed, I shot this same area about a month ago during the day and it doesn't look near as impressive. Excellent composition and exposure. Very good work.
