About Some people will do anything to be able to live by water or sit near it. I found this place rather amusing by the canal:-)

Dear Onie
I can see that you understood my photo well;-) THanks for commenting and funny to hear that this also takes place in Australia.
Take care

Made me smile too Annemette... :))) The person who enjoys the view from this seat, must truly believe of it's importance in scheme of things... :)))

Here, we are a town on a lake with our (Australia's) biggest river running through it, and the same thing happens land value wise... :)))

Well seen Annemette...:)))

Onie...

Oh yes, in lowlands like Denmark the rising water will cause damage. In some towns near the sea and fjords they are already thinking about this problem when building new homes and such.
Take care and I hope you get a big, gentle dog to go around with you:-)

Indeed it does, but in Denmark people pay huge amount of money to live by the sea, lake or fjords or just to have a glimpse of some distant water. Rather funny because we´re really surrounded by sea;-)
I can also see a small part of the fjord from my garden, but that means not much to me. A walk along the water or a swim is much more valuable. Yet it means a lot to a real-estateman/woman.
Oh yes I could see you and Marlyce in this place - you with funny toys or maybe hanging down with your camera to take funny photos while Marlyce teach tricks to her.. no not sealion, but seal- remember it´s Denmark:-)

Nice composition Annemette... I like the pastel colors and the light is perfect creating a light shadow with the chairs... Sooooo obviously these folks are worried that the water may rise above the concrete here (?) Very interesting and well taken. I also like to see how people do live in Denmark :)
Best wishes,
Michele~

I think that's because water, the life-giver, also seems to convey peace and tranquility. Now see, if it were ME . . . I'd have a little canopy too . . . Oh! and an end table to hold my drinks . . . and at least ONE rubber duck!! :)

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
