About leftovers from a local easter egg hunt yesterday. there were 10,000 plastic eggs filled with one piece of candy each. swarms of children cleared 2 acres of them in under 7 minutes. crazy! we had to empty the eggs and put the plastic eggs back - to be used again next year. it was quite an experience!

lillie went to 2 easter egg hunts. the first, they just threw the candy on the ground (in the snow!). in the 2nd easter egg hunt, the candy was ok in the snow, since it was covered!

hi,Jessie...here is the definition of concentricity of which many are confusing with something other than what it is...

concentricity
n : the quality of having the same center (as circles inside one
another)

a good example is the concentric circle patterns on the water's surface...

love how you filled the frame and this is a great example of a high impact color shot!

regards,gayle

hi rina! thanks for asking. when the eggs are opened, each egg (both the tops and bottoms) have the exact same circle. so, 10,000 eggs split in half - 20,000 circles, exactly the same!

Sorry Jessie, but how do you come to the conclusion that this depicts Concentricity? Just asking... :)

Wow - this image is 10X's better than on the Gather site... the reflections in the eggs are captured so nicely and the colors are much more vibrant.

Wow - No Yolk . . . uhhhh . . . no joke! This is a perfect idea for a colorful, fill frame composition. I like it. Hope your Easter was great. Sounds like a wonderful experience for Lillie.

So let me get this straight:
10,000 eggs with candy +
2 acres +
Swarms of energetic children +
7 minutes

= STAY OUT OF THE WAY!!! LoL! Wow! Faster than locusts clearing a field . . . hope nobody got hurt!!

Real fun shot Jessie!

Regards,
Doyle I <~~~~~
