Thanks for the comments Sam, I don't believe used gamma to lighten the bird, surprisingly it came out that way.

Great action and details dear Joe.
Very minimum elements with only the bird on flight and the blue sky made this a great composition. Trruly like your thought process here.

Thanks Dave. I know it's not the greatest shot of the hawk but although we saw lots of hawks that day this is as close as we got to them. I plan to go back to the island to try to get some better shots.
