yeah our last fatality at Mt Thorley mine was exactly that 12 months ago tyre fitter got squashed by a tire he was fitting using a remote control dvice to drive the crane into position... so they have stopped using 'em now scary stuff

I'm a nurse-aid Rog but once I remember looking under the hood of my car with someone who knew how to use a spanner and got this flash of how much I loved being a boy back when I was a boy, and how much I'd have enjoyed being a mechanic.
Similarly enjoy watching these things running round the big sandpits up at the goldmines in the hills behind where I am.
broom broom mind you you could kill a few people trying to change the tyre on these buggers couldn't ya

I want one of these Rog... ~~GRIN~~... I have hankered after these for so long, too many years to think about...LOL...
The sheer size is fascinating, let alone the logistics of driving one...:)))
