awesome macro, hussam. great curvy lines and color. the purple against the white really makes it pop. nice title as well. i would give it a 7, but feel the dof could be deeper and the focus sharper. still, a very cool image.

Many people try such macros, Hussam, but usually we see then examples to be avoided in serious photography. But some few people do have the patience and the care to make such a macro simply great. You definitely belong with this one to the second category.

The labyrinth is clear with real contours between the many different curly ways in an excellent reproduction of the color palette. The details are crispy to that degree that I started searching my fridge for a good salad!

And above all: You didn't just put some cut of the vegetable in front of your camera! you took that part that also has a strong appearance for a macro, quite contrary to the tones of quick and dirty shots of just some fruit or vegetable in the kitchen. Exactly this work you did is what distinguishes the one that wants to do serious photography from the many too many eternal amateurs that will unfortunately never stop bombarding us with their cheap jokes.

Only one thing I would dare suggest here. That upper left corner is the only place that deviates from the rest of the uniformly great looking rest. Perhaps croppin it off??? I attach a cropped image - what do you think?

You know, I saw this image some time ago but I do not believe that I commented on it at that time. But I want you to know that it was deeply ingrained in my subconscious, Hussam, because every time we eat cabbage I remember it (I'm serious)!!! What an impact an image can have!!!

Plus, it is just fabulous for this category. Nature has its own labyrinths and you surely found this one!!!
