About Took the advice of Maryanne and removed the original background.

First attempt so be gentle!
Tried to add a Background so that it looked as if it was taken in a studio...
Maybe i should have straightened the view of him first? note that right foot was covered with sand... Made it hard to get the whole thing so here it is!

Best wishes

Mike, wonderful -- it improves the drama tremendously -- and congrats on figuring out how to do it. I do agree with Jan's comment about extending the arch so he doesn't appear to be floating in mid-air -- or leaving the terracotta base and maybe blurring it a bit with a healing brush (just a thought). The removal of the glass enclosure really makes a difference, and I like your choice of background.

Cool!

Thanks for the comment Jan.
Yeah i thought it looked a bit odd but am proud that the effect is that much different.
I totally agree on that and that may be the next task with this picture!

Mike -- This is a pretty good job in dropping out the distracting background. One point: it might have helped if you had cloned and extended the arch that this guy is climbing on so that the arch went all the way to the bottom of the frame. As is, the arch seems to be floating in thin air.
--Best to you, Jan
