About	Using long exposure this windmill seemed to me like a butterfly or a hummingbird - if making the shutterspeed longer the wings disappeared which was also facinating -I´m having a good time playing and thereby learning with my new camera:-)

Dear Cathy
I had a look at my settings and will write them down for you. It was very dark around me, the sun had been down for a while. I stood on a field with my tripod taking this. I figured out that the exposuretime only had to be reduced a small bit if wanting the movement, so I chose a more open aperture. Babble babble:-) Here are the settings:Shutter 1/3
Aperture F10
Exp. -1.7
Focal length 135mm
ISO 400

This is very interesting Annemette, The slow shutter speed has given the impression that these blades are moving really fast. Love the colours!
How long was the exposure and how close to sunset was it taken? I have been experimenting with my new Nikon too but I have not got results as spectacular as this! CC
