Not so far away from the location where I shot the previous one, "A sequence of three in the grainy winter air", but much later on the same day. This one is even more simple than the other. Only wood and snow, one might say.
I am glad that the image has such an impact to you, Gonçalo. But perfect is perhaps a bit too much here, and although I also think that it is good, I have some "personal" problems with it regarding the pure technical part.
Hi Nick, The image does a good job of depicting a scene of loneliness or isolation. I think the inclusion of the very dark wood on the left side makes the tree seem even more fragile. I like the two in this series for their simplicity. Andre
