Thank you very much for all your nice comments.
The western RwBB are very aggressive too, especially against hawks.
Once in a while I get lucky and they let me get close.

I was immediately drawn to your photo of the red-wing blackbird. The eastern variety are a bit notorious -- the swoop down and try to scare anyone who gets to close to their nests. We have one outide the building where I work, and people are usually quite startled when they first encounter them.
Great image.

Lovely image of this bird, The redwing black birds of the nort east have a bit more stiping effect of red and yellow on their wings. They have a beautiful song, and sing of spring when they arrive here from wintering in florida, Photo has good deatal and nice life light in the eye, You have some stunning bird images in you portfolio,
