About Location: Kinloch Hourn, Highlands, Scotland.

A 22 mile dead end but offering probably the most excitingly varied landscape scenery in Scotland from birch tree lined lochs to vast vistas and intimate waterfalls and of course this wonderful derelict red rust roofed stone hovel. Still what a view to wake up to on a fine morning. The rust coloured hills alive (if that's the word) with dead bracken turn it to a sumptuous coloured especially when the clouds create rafts of sunlight across the high fells. Composition poltely fell into place for me.

Hi Luis thanks for looking and commenting, this matches the transparency as viewed on a corrected lightbox and is a good match for my memory of the scenery. The light actually got even more dramatic but unfortunately the little cottage never got lit again.
