oh, yeah! It was certainly worth the pain and anxiety, Jim. The golden sky is nice, but the golden cast on the snow and how those cattails point up into the frame from the corner? Priceless.

ahh the things we do in the name of gettin an image.. now where's the buddhist monk?? In fact on sunday i was up the mountain photographing the boys on their bikes and we came to the last bit well we didnt know it was the last bit but the next bit made it so.. Eliot rides like the wind no care at all slips up over this jump and I am thinking I will get him on the next cos he really powers over it and dang it all about 3/4 of the way thru the wheel tips jees he's on an angle ..he isnt gonna make it oh sh1t smash crash tip roll bikes flips over his head which is plowin a rut any illinois famer would be proud of dust settles he sits up and starts to swear and then blame the bike and I just watched it all camera in hand zoomed out to 200mm and everything and I didnt take a shot... I said to him I thought you would go crook if I shot u stackin it.. he said Dad .. next time keep photographin until I sit up.. and there you have it.. but his mate got it all on the new vid cam
