I understand. Some photographs need people around to be discovered and others need solitude. THat´s what makes it so fascinating.
I´ve been around Cambridge, but not Oxford.

Well, I'm in Oxford, not London... but you could arrive in a longship on the River Isis... trouble is, people would just assume you were a pissed student. I don't know... photography is a solitary affair for me... I can never take photographs unless I'm on my own. I have to get into the zone where I'm alert and focused on what I'm doing so that when something does come along that's interesting, I'm able to spot it and see the potential in it to make a photograph.

Okay I would dress up as a viking and arrive on the river Thames in an old drakkar and accompany you with some of my muskoxbones just in the right position to knock rude imposters on the head:-)
No honestly I think it would be quite fascinating walking with you. I don´t live in the city and I´m not certain that I´d be able to spot this beauty in strangers and bricks as you do.
