Remember tho... I have over 500 images i took in Maui... and it will be hard for me to not post many of them even if the settings are probably not right ok? So don't be impatient with me, because I will become better by referring to Ken's link... but just a few Maui shots , only the very best first since I already have them ...
Don't think that I am not paying attention to learning OK ????????

Ohhhh Ace... Yep showing the clarity of your Nikon pictures to me was the best way to see the difference for myself....
I see a major difference !!! What a nice shot .
There is a list of D40 settings ? WoW!!! I think it would really help me a lot to see that list ..lol!!! Seriously !!!

Hi Ace! Thank You so much for your comment and for the offer of help with my settings .. I do believe you are right about this being the reason for poor clarity... I think maybe I might be learning a bit more since my recent trip to Maui (I know I am so very lucky for this trip) as well as just practice helps a lot.
I wanted to insert an image that i am more proud of but I may have to re-size it as I know it is too big for the 400 pixel limit so if it doesn't show up with this reply I will send it in another comment with the camera settings and maybe you can tell me what you think when you have time.

hi Michele! checking on D40 i see your images r not that clear because i have alot of D40 samples ... just wondering maybe you r using wrong settings or something else which causing this problem

I don't know about mastering but getting more familiar ..haha!! Well here's another visual for you to laugh about .... sometimes I just pull over on the road and start taking pictures... then I end up shooting the flowers in the van so imagine me in the back of the van on the side of the road alone taking pictures...lol
My florist knows I would freeze that moment of love delivery in a second, or more likely thinks I already have...haha!!

Thank You for your very kind comment. You are so right about traveling with my camea...it goes EVERYWHERE with me and it's not like before with my little camera . This nikkon is good sized and in it's case equal sized as my purse ..ha! My boss always looks at me wierd when I walk in with it and then load it in the van... BUT then he calls me 'Speedy Gonzales' so at this point he doesn't think it's interferring with my job !

Excellent . . . you'll need to be able to select and work the sky independently to improve this. Even so . . . it's good already. The composition is perfect! I thought you might like to see how this would be with Sepia toning. Awesome my friend! :)

Yayhe that would be nice to at least sit on that fence, or lean on it but at least it is sort of a neat looking fence as it is quite the cliff there ..!!
