A great range of dynamic from the darker parts on the top left to the almost shining stones on the bottom right. And this light difference works together with the difference between the near field and the far depth - it really leads the eye to the background, that carries a great amount of detail like the foreground but in very different hues!
Excellent!

Sorry John I mis-read your comment. The original stitch has quite a bit more above the lighthouse, the problem was that it produced a large area of blank sky across the image with no interest so I cropped it off. I see your point though. Cheers, Collin.

Thanks John. The lighthouse on the headland has got a lot of detail in the full size image. I don't know how to reduce such a large file without losing a lot of detail. Do you think it would be a better image if the lighthouse were a major subject in the shot? The horison is also level it is just the rock wall that makes it look off a little bit. Thanks again for commenting, all suggestions are appreciated. Regards, Collin.

Well worked. I'd liked to have seen just a fraction more above the house. The horizon also might need a tweek. Well taken. John

The original output psd with separate layers + a blended layer was 1.1Gb but the final flattened jpeg is 10Mb.

Wow, 41 images!! I see your point though. The most I have stitched is 24 but I couldn't get it to work in autostitch as you did, I used ptgui. It was a complicated interior shot - 2 rows X 12

Thanks very much Mike. The main difficulty I'm having is keeping the detail when I reduce the image to 400k to upload. Shrinking 1 image is ok but I'm not sure how to do it for 7+. The reduced file doesn't look near as good the original. Regards, Collin.

The color is fantastic and the stitching is really well done. Keep it up - how many MPxls is the final?

Very nice colors and excellent focus. What type of editing do you want to do to this shot? I like how well it all blends and the serene feeling that I get looking at it. Great long exposure!
