About This is my homeland, the area known as Pendle, it gets its name from Pendle Hill which can be clearly seen in the background.
This was the place of the world famous Pendle witches, they were in fact harmless old women who were hanged in Lancaster Castle in an age when superstition was rife. You will find many pages on the web regarding their tales by doing a Google search.
I have lived all my life in this valley but 2007 will be the year I leave it all behind for my new life in Spain….I shall miss that beautiful hill….
