You appear to have caught a solitary moment. That's always special. I like the colour but I think Riny may have a point. As you point out the b&w put the emphasis on the person. According to your title your theme is the person's interaction with the environment or contemplation rather than the fall colours? I agree the b&w better addresses the theme. I'm a little surprised I'm saying this because I almost always prefer the colour image. I guess I've seen too many b&w rainbows and peacocks. lol :) :).
In any event I think it's a really nice image.

Hi Riny. I don't mind at all. At first, I thought I would miss the fall colors, but when I looked at the B&W version, I thought it put more emphasis on the person in the shot -- which I liked.
