While visiting Los Angeles in 2000, my family and I went out to lunch with my good friend Robert Patrick, who has added so many nice critiques of my work here on UseFilm. As we got out of the car, we noticed a skywriter was drawing hearts in the sky, so I snapped this portrait of my good friend Robert.
Ths happens to be a portrait of me, but nonetheless I appreciate Mister Caldwell's bold sense of design and the PoMo color scheme, dusty blue, stone pink, and deep, rich black.
Great spur of the moment shot!! Was a little alcohol involved here which may have aided the creative process?? (it's certainly only a shot I'd spot after a few glasses of red at an airshow!!) Super :OD Regards...CB.
