Thank You for your honest comment John. Bummer on the car being there but it's a street and I should've either gotten closer to the building or not posted it I guess..Your critiques are very good John and I do learn from them so I wanted You to know this and to Thank You again for helping me learn.

Nice shot, the colors are very nice too and so the building that has special architecture. Nice lighting and weather conditions too and only the car ...hope not to be there and cutted at the frond like that.

Thanks again Paul ... I have now registered my eyes in school and they are being trained ....(LOL!) I was teasing but seriously now I do know what You mean and will watch much better, or rather try to. Today I actually have a shoot for my boss who needs 3 shoots of himself for a book he's written.... He wants it outside on the lake which is best for me for sure cause I don't know enough about lights yet. Hope it turns out :)

Good shot Michele from what you could get.
Really not much one can do here....Unless you can of course twich your noise and make special things happen....You did well with everything you could control except for Im sure you have already noticed that you could have move your view over just a tad to advoid the roof edge there to the left. I know you wanted the shot badly that that
was the farest thing from your mind. mostly with all the other distractions! lol
That would just be a matter of cropping.......(simple) But you have to even see it to do that a!
Start training your eyes now Michele...... It will not be easy when you dont have a few good programs that have good auto adjustments. To me
that was a big help. I had to train my eyes and that seemed to be as hard as the learning to capture a photo!
I see you have a few new camera photos.....Can't wait to get to them! The rain has stopped so my connection is working again so I better hurry!

Good Capture Michele.....Just work on viewing your photos more with a perfectionistly eye.

Hi Robbie,
Thank You so much for your always in-sightful ctitique. I wanted that shot very badly but I was quite a distance away and couldn't cross the busy street where I was.. so I just took it ... car, fence and all... bad huh:( I had to have the shot to hold me until I got the right one ..directly in front of Amtrac.
Well the story about the D40 images is several reasons... mostly the snow hit hard before I got to learn how to work it & I had so many images I'd taken all over Salem when I went to get the new camera I still wanted to share them....
Now I am ready but have to find them ... wherever they are hiding in here... I took 70 images off this morning and haven't located them yet... I took the D40 to work with me and have another 40 or so to transfer and I am hoping tomorrow if not later tonight I can actually post some....
So that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.
I 'm very lucky to have you for a friend to even Care :)
I sure do love the D40 tho.... I am begining to get used to it..and it's wonderful.

Nice color tones Michele,good composition too but I think it would be improved without the fence and the car.Why no D40 IMAGES???
