Steve,

I apreciate your input and kind words. Keep in mind this photo was taken at 50 Mph while traveling down MSR Tampa in Iraq.

It is one of those situations that you see and you know you have to photograph and you are happy with what the photo gods give you.

Frankly, I was happy to return to camp without having to endure the effects of a EFP blast.

Pat, the subject matter, composition, color range, tonal balance, and the panoramic presentation are all terrific. I love the lone ass.
My only small complaints are that the photo is a bit too dark, and the very very small point that I'm bothered by the black top of the structure that lies above the horizon above the red structure. It's dark black and is the only obvious thing to lie above the horizon.
Other than those minor points, I must say that this is a great photo!! I would think it would be extraordinarily impressive printed out in a very large format and hung on a wall.

I'm a little surprised that you haven't received more response on this image. I think it is a very nice, thought provoking image. Maybe I find it interesting because it is so foreign to eastern Ontario. :)
