Good color and nice work with shadows against the light.

Definitely a different beach shot. The simplicity of the picture and the blue filter work well. Good.

The idea of the polariser was just to make the picture darker. I wanted a nice dark silouette. I hadn't noticed the tilted horizon, thanks for pointing that out. I will have to watch out for that in the future.
Thanks all for your comments.

Boy, it sure is nice seeing someone use a filter on the camera, instead of Photoshop. Watch the tilted horizons, unless that was your intention. The effect works well.

Dan the polariser won't work as it is intended at this position. The polariser is at it's best at a position 90 degrees perpendicular to the light source. In this image the sun is in the frame causing an overexposure of the scene. The blue filter makes it look cool. I like it.

Dan, I like the use of the blue filter and the simple beach scene. Nice shot.
