Dear Jan
A pleasure bringing back good memories to you! What a pity about your back but nevertheless good that you had so many special rides on motorcycles back in time.
I see a lot of people in Denmark that are retiring, taking a license for a motorcycle and then go out in the world. What a joy and what a privilege!
For now I depend on the kindness of strangers and friends if I want to go for a ride:-)

Annemette-- I get the same feeling when I see a beautiful motorcycle. I used to ride them years ago and can no longer do so because of a back injury. But I get the longing to ride and feel the world around me. Your picture portrays that feeling so well: that this beautiful bike can connect us with the world around us and take us to places that a car or truck cannot go.
The detail, tone and composition are excellent and the point of view makes us feel like we are just about to put on the helmet and mount this great bike.
Thanks so much for stirring these old memories for me.
